YES Alumni Celebrates International Education Week in the City of Brewville,Montserrado County.  The Celebration which brought togerther over 100 students from several high schools around Brewville was celebrated under the theme "Education in the Digital Age"

Abraham B Massalay is a physically chanllenged student recruited from from a public school in Montserrado county. After spending one high school year in the United States where he participated in state championship for wheelchair race,Abraham is challenge to represent Liberia in future Olympic  for disable people.

 


Our Misson

iEARN-Liberia

To provide the educational platform and skills that will develop today’s learners for tomorrow leadership.

iEARN-Liberia is a  registered non-profit youth-led organization that works with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth and Sport, Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY) and other NGOs to help teachers, students, and young people understand the importance of Information Communication Technology for education. iEARN Liberia provides the platform for teachers to integrate technology into their classroom and to use computer as a tools to enhance learning.

 iEARN-Liberia currently works with a network of  schools in 10 counties across Liberia  and has continue to champion  the cause for elearning and online professional development  for teachers through the  iEARN global collaboration center . iEARN Liberia is partnering with World Computer Exchange to promote the Computer for Girls (C4G) program in Liberia. The C4G pilot began in 2012 and   has trained over 50 high school girls in computer and internet literacy.  


iEARN -Liberia is also a global member of iEARN International. iEARN enables students and educators worldwide to design and participate in global projects as part of their regular classroom and after-school programs.
